Grab FREE Mac Lipstick (worth £15.50) when you trade in old makeup!

Back to M·A·C Program allows you to swap 6 old empty MAC makeup containers and trade them in for a totally free MAC lipstick in a colour of your choice.

This has been around for ages but not many people know about it, also lots of people can’t be bothered to take them back to store so chat up your mates that use MAC to see if they will give you their empties.

MAC asks that items returned are “primary packaging” which means they do not accept the following:

  • Paper boxes
  • Plastic or cellophane wrappers
  • Shopping bags
  • Samples
  • Applicators/tools
  • Accessories (cases, bags, lashes and a few others)

If you don’t have a nearby store then supposedly (not checked for many years) you can also send them via post, the address that everyone uses is below however we suggest you contact MAC directly to check the address is still correct + remember to include your return address + the lipstick colour you want in return:

Constellation House
3 Kites Croft Business Park
Warsash Road
Fareham
Hampshire
PO14 4FL

Important things to remember with everything we post:

  • If you earn over your personal allowance (currently £12,570 a year) HMRC need to get their % cut (even if the money is in cash or from another country)
  • If you’re working for yourself / earning an income on the side you need to let HMRC know – There are numerous benefits but also some drawbacks
  • You need to always ensure whatever you’re doing is legal and not hurting anyone else – be careful and always think twice
  • Some income streams may require you to have DBS check, licence, insurance or qualifications before you can start to profit from it, do your research.
  • Be careful that any additional income doesn’t compromise your studies or main income/job
  • If you work for a company check your contract, if you don’t inform them you’re working on other side projects outside of work they may have grounds to ownership on this work
