Perseids Meteor Shower will reach it’s peak tonight (August 12th) with as many as 50-100 Meteors per hour
Get away from the city lights and sit and watch for what appears to be shooting stars however these will move steadily across the sky rather than disappearing like a meteor.
There will also be a clear view of the International Space Station as it glides across the sky at 10.30pm however the best time to view the Meteors will be between 12am-3am.
In the midlands and northern England clear skies are expected, while London will be ‘partly cloudy’ with winds remaining light.
If you miss them don’t worry you can keep looking until August 24th
