Latest Taiwanese money saving fashion trend…

This is one of the most thrifty clothing ideas ever, so cheap that everyone can afford it…but a little chilly in this UK ‘summer’ we fear.

This ‘craze’ seems to have started back at the end of August with a few popular Taiwanese girls posting rather revealing photos of themselves wearing basically one plastic bag with a couple of slits up the side… yes as in the things you get with your supermarket shopping.

Now I’m not sure if it’s a strange 7 Eleven marketing ploy or just ‘teenagers being teenagers’ but we certainly noticed it and thought it was relevant.

Of course Twitter / Instagram was full of other internet users trying their own versions:
