Emily and her friends went to Royal Ascot this year and instead of paying the frankly exorbitant prices for a drink they snuck in some cheeky drinks with them using these unique pouches which were held in place by the elastic on their underwear under their dresses! How much are the drinks at Royal Ascot?
According to Get Reading:
- A jug of Bellini is £38.50 or a glass is £12
- Chapel Down English Sparkling Wine £56
- A single shot of Gin will set you back £6 and a mixer £2.40
- A pint of Grolsch is £6.50
- Cintla Rose, 750ml – £28, 250ml – £10, 125ml – £7.50
Is it allowed?
“To embrace the celebratory nature of racing at Ascot, each customer (over the age of 18) is permitted to bring with them 1 bottle of sparkling wine or Champagne to accompany per person, with the exception of the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup & Concert. No other type of alcoholic drink will be permitted into the racecourse grounds and all picnics will be searched on entry.”
“For clarity, bottles of Beer, Cider, Spirits, fortified wines and bottles of Pimm’s or similar will not be allowed onto the racecourse. Alcoholic or soft drink are not permitted to be brought into the Royal Enclosure, Queen Anne Enclosure or Village Enclosure.”
