Buying something – 3rd party lowball the seller!

Buying something on Gumtree, Craigslist, eBay etc, use an alias email to send a lowball (unrealistically low bid) to the seller, explain why it’s not worth anywhere near that amount etc.

Then go back on your main account and offer a price that is a good amount lower than the asking price. You should have that offer accepted.

Be careful of other people doing this back to you when selling.
