If your local isn’t on the list just ask, probably 75-90% of companies/restaurants/bars etc will give you something for free if it’s your birthday, just be friendly, cheeky and ask (wearing a badge, take some cards to open etc will better your chances).

You could also try and email your favourite companies, saying something like “My mate loves <your brand name>, it’s her/his Birthday this month and I was wondering if you had anything for them?”. Worst case no reply…
