Standard 12-month warranties are frustrating enough, but we’ve just hit a whole new level of warranty nonsense. 🤦🏻♂️
We bought a phone case from a massive brand that came with a hyped-up "LIFETIME" warranty. When the original case failed, they replaced it smoothly. But here’s the catch: the lifetime warranty doesn't roll over to the replacement unit. The new one has just failed, and because the warranty is technically "used up", we're left completely empty-handed.
A lifetime warranty that only lasts until the first time a product breaks isn't a lifetime warranty, it's just clever marketing. Has anyone else been caught out by this loophole?
