🧪 HOW TO DILUTE 99.9% IPA

💧 50% solution: Mix approximately 1 part IPA with 1 part distilled water.

💧 70% solution: For a 1-litre batch, use approximately 700ml of IPA and add distilled water until the total volume reaches 1 litre.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

🔥 IPA is highly flammable, even when diluted. Keep away from flames, heat and sparks.

🌬️ Always use in a well-ventilated area.

🧤 Avoid prolonged skin contact and wear suitable gloves when needed.

🚫 Never mix with bleach or other cleaning chemicals.

🧪 Always test on a hidden area first. IPA can permanently damage paint, varnish, acrylic, certain plastics and protective coatings.

💻 For electronics, always check the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Switch off, disconnect from power and apply IPA to a cloth rather than spraying directly.

👶 Keep away from children and pets. Store securely in clearly labelled, suitable containers.

🦠 For disinfection, use a properly labelled disinfectant and follow its stated contact time. Homemade diluted IPA isn’t automatically a validated disinfectant.

💡 Remember: IPA isn’t suitable for every cleaning job. For ordinary household dirt, warm water and washing-up liquid are often all you need!
