New for 2019: McDonald’s Monopoly – Rare Pieces Revealed + all the prize info

Another year, another massive amount of people asking for the same stickers and offering to split it 50/50 on Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree and eBay. McDonalds Monopoly Returns 20th March 2019!

What are ‘rare stickers’?

The large prizes e.g. £100,000 normally only need 2 stickers, Park Lane & Mayfair. There will be millions (if not more) of one and only 4 of the other.

Having so many of one means tens of thousands of people believe EACH DAY they have a chance of actually walking away with the £100k, in reality, they’re more likely to be hit by a bus on the way back from McDonald’s.

HOWEVER, if we all know the rare pieces in advance then we will at least not chuck away the good ones, remember there were 1,010,989 rare stickers last year, 1 million of which only win you a free medium meal, the rest (10,989) may land you another prize that might be worth keeping/winning.

Are the rare pieces worth buying from/selling on eBay?

In short maybe… it all depends on what you currently have and need. Obviously the rare pieces for things like £100K won’t be sold on eBay unless someone has made a massive mistake, be careful of scammers during this period, ensure you fully read the listing.

If you’re looking at trying to win one of the PS4s / Red Letter Days / BooHoo vouchers then you should be able to pick these up for an OK/Good price.
