IKEA this week has launched a 'Buy Back' scheme where you can take used furniture back and get up to 50% of its value back (you would likely get more selling on Facebook/Gumtree etc but a nice additional option to have).

They've also opened 'Circular Hubs' where you can buy 2nd hand IKEA furniture in-store.

Pricing structure:
As new – no scratches: 50% of the original price
Very good – minor scratches: 40% of the original price
Well-used – several scratches: 30% of the original price

Pretty limited as:
- It has to be fully built (therefore fit in your car or you hire a van)
- Can't contain glass
- Can't contain fabric
- Can't be from a kitchen
- Can't be from a child range
