16 products that massively improve our lives and will improve yours

We’ve handpicked these products not because they’re the cheapest but because they deliver amazing value in the long run, we purchased these ourselves (after many hours of research) so instead of you spending the time doing that research we’ve done it for you. All of these have made our lives easier, more efficient, or simply more enjoyable—and they’re well worth the investment in our (semi) expert opinion. Each one we’ve included a link to buy and a cheaper alternative if you want lots of similar features/spec but for slightly less money. We hope it helps.

1. Robot Vacuum

Why We Love It: It cleans while you’re not home. It uses AI cameras to to avoid clothes, cables or even dog poo! Set it on a schedule, and your floors stay spotless without lifting a finger. Great for pet owners or anyone who hates vacuuming. Our one also has a self-emptying base station, and it also fills itself with water/cleaning fluid to mop the floors as well.
How It Saves You Money: Less time spent cleaning = more time for other things. We ended up cutting our cleaner’s hours down, so they come once every 2 weeks now, saving us £110 a month.

  • If you’re working for yourself / earning an income on the side you need to let HMRC know – There are numerous benefits but also some drawbacks
  • You need to always ensure whatever you’re doing is legal and not hurting anyone else – be careful and always think twice
  • Some income streams may require you to have DBS check, licence, insurance or qualifications before you can start to profit from it, do your research.
  • Be careful that any additional income doesn’t compromise your studies or main income/job
  • If you work for a company check your contract, if you don’t inform them you’re working on other side projects outside of work they may have grounds to ownership on this work
