How to Get FREE Entry to Top UK Attractions with Just a 25p Lottery Ticket

The National Lottery’s Open Week is back from 15th–23rd March 2025, giving you unlimited access to hundreds of attractions across the UK – all for the price of a single lottery ticket, starting from just 25p. Yes, really.

Show any valid National Lottery ticket (digital or physical) at the entrance, and you’ll unlock free or discounted entry to some of the UK’s best days out, including:

The Eden Project (normally £42 on the day)

Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Garden (voted Which? Best UK Attraction, usually £21)

Culzean Country Park, Quarry Bank, and Stourhead, all ranking in the UK’s top 10 attractions

In 2024, over 500 venues joined in, and 2025’s list is looking even bigger. Expect everything from historic castles to famous museums, gardens, art galleries, and theatres – plus extras like shop discounts and half-price tours.

🧐 How does it work?

TIP: Some venues allow group entry on a single ticket, but others are stricter, so check the details on the official Open Week list beforehand. You may also want to visit during quieter times to avoid the crowds.

Be a financial rockstar and share this with your friends, family and co-workers to maximise savings:

Important things to remember with everything we post:

  • If you earn over your personal allowance (currently £12,570 a year) HMRC need to get their % cut (even if the money is in cash or from another country)
  • If you’re working for yourself / earning an income on the side you need to let HMRC know – There are numerous benefits but also some drawbacks
  • You need to always ensure whatever you’re doing is legal and not hurting anyone else – be careful and always think twice
  • Some income streams may require you to have DBS check, licence, insurance or qualifications before you can start to profit from it, do your research.
  • Be careful that any additional income doesn’t compromise your studies or main income/job
  • If you work for a company check your contract, if you don’t inform them you’re working on other side projects outside of work they may have grounds to ownership on this work
