Alex Craig from Texas appears to be just your average 24 year old American until you realise he is slowly changing the world one potato, two potato, three potatoes at a time.
Alex launched PotatoParcel.com in May 2015 and is now clearing over $10,000 (£6300ish) a month in sales
People (presumably on drugs or under the influence of alcohol) order personalised potatoes (up to 140 characters only) from his site, he then hand writes them and delivers them anonymously.
It’s so simply, so stupid yet so brilliant at the same time. It’s a very similar ideal (albeit less funny) to the ‘send glitter to your enemies‘ gift website.
The key facts if you’re planning such a potato business:
- Each potato is charged at $9.99 (£6.37ish) delivered with its own personal message.
- It takes roughly 30 seconds to write on each potato
- The G210 is the best pen for writing on potatoes says Alex
- Your mates/family will think you’re an idiot
- You may prove them wrong

G210 is the best pen for the job
The two things that hold everyone back in life are fear & doubt. The fear of failure and the fear of wasting your time and the doubt that you can actually achieve something big on a huge scale. – Alex Craig
