How to Get 1 Year of FREE Tesla Supercharging (Perfect for European Road Trips) + £500 Discount!

Imagine Touring Europe or Commuting for an Entire Year with £0 Fuel Costs! 🚗⚡

Tesla has confirmed an exciting offer: order a Tesla Model Y and have it delivered before 31st December 2024, and you’ll receive 1 year of unlimited FREE Supercharging! Plus, if an existing Tesla owner refers you, you’ll also get an additional £500 discount. (We’ve been proud Tesla owners for over 9 years—send us a private message on Facebook or email, and we’ll be happy to refer you!)

The Tesla Model Y is available from £349 a month (based on a £4,500 deposit and 10,000 miles per year). However, when you factor in the fuel savings from this promotion (compared to driving a petrol car with 37 MPG @ £1.49/litre), it effectively works out at £199/month during the free Supercharging year. After that, your fuel costs would only increase slightly, bringing the effective cost to £216/month when charging at home (assuming off-peak rates of ~£0.08/kWh with Octopus Intelligent).

Why This Deal is Worth Considering:

  • £0 Fuel Costs for a Year: Perfect for road trips, daily commutes, or family adventures.
  • Massive Savings: Cut fuel costs significantly even after the Supercharging promotion ends.
  • Sustainability: Lower emissions and contribute to a greener future.

Terms and conditions apply—be sure to read the fine print. Scroll below to discover why we love the Model Y and a few things we think could be improved. This is a great time to join the Tesla family!

Is the Tesla Model Y any good?

The Model Y was the third most popular new car in the UK in 2023 (that includes all petrol cars as well), it obviously was the most popular EV in the UK for 2023 as well and for good reason it’s a great car overall, (we’ve had one since 2022),  here are the main benefits:

  • It’s super safe, one of the best on the road for collision protection and software
  • It’s spacious inside (ideal for families, those who cart big stuff around etc)
  • It’s super smart and updates over Wi-fi like your phone!
  • It’s arguably the best package for any EV on UK roads, other cars simply aren’t anyway near as good as this
  • It’s super smooth, no faff with gears, use just one pedal to drive (most of the time)
  • Relaxing to drive (especially long distance with Autopilot)
  • It’s fast to charge (up to 250kW) when you need it
  • Solid range – Unless you’re driving 200+ miles a day it’s so easy
  • It performs like a sporty two-seater off-the-line when you want it to
  • It’s a great package overall

We’ve been proud Tesla owners for over 9 years—send us a private message on Facebook or email, and we’ll be happy to refer you! p.s. you don’t have to like everything Elon Musk does to own one!

What do we dislike about the Model Y?

  • Insurance costs can be higher than you think due to high performance.
  • Even with the above discounts/savings it’s still an expensive (albeit great) car, you can pick up much cheaper EVs / cars, however, they don’t do everything this car offers
  • If you’re not careful, you can wear tyres much quicker than you otherwise would due to the addictive acceleration
  • Some don’t love the look of the car from the front, it’s very personal and frankly doesn’t matter that much.

Important things to remember with everything we post:

  • If you earn over your personal allowance (currently £12,570 a year) HMRC need to get their % cut (even if the money is in cash or from another country)
  • If you’re working for yourself / earning an income on the side you need to let HMRC know – There are numerous benefits but also some drawbacks
  • You need to always ensure whatever you’re doing is legal and not hurting anyone else – be careful and always think twice
  • Some income streams may require you to have DBS check, licence, insurance or qualifications before you can start to profit from it, do your research.
  • Be careful that any additional income doesn’t compromise your studies or main income/job
  • If you work for a company check your contract, if you don’t inform them you’re working on other side projects outside of work they may have grounds to ownership on this work
